DESCRIPTION

The noise measurement system controller NMSC-1 is provided with the NMS mainframe. The NMSC-1

controls all the measurement modules that are plugged in to the mainframe and includes a 1 MHz dual channel

FFT spectrum analyzer. The controller has a bright 6.4 inch color flat panel display. All functions of the

measurement system are available through a touch screen on the display. A keyboard and larger display

monitor can also be connected to the supplied SVGA and PS/2 connector. The NMSC-1 comes standard

with an Ethernet port, RS-232, and USB. Remote control of measurements and display of data is available

with an optional WLAN adapter. The measurement system software has been designed to hide the

complexity of noise analysis and provide an intuitive user friendly interface. Access and control to all

measurement system settings is provided for the experienced user through lower level menus.

The NMSC-1 may be used to control the following modules.

Noise detector modules: ND-1NM, ND-3NM

Delay line modules: DL-1, DL-2

Frequency synthesizer: LNFS-100
